Well, I am proudly taking credit for the total own3d of Tanwhore.com. I submitted this site to Something Awful's Awful Website of the Day on Tuesday as a joke. I had no expectations to see it on SA as I am sure they get any number of submissions per day. However, to my glee, I went to SA on Thursday and found it posted right on the front page. Here is a permenent record of what it looked like on the site.

The after effects have been nearly as amusing. As of 9AM this morning, the site had been closed due to excessive bandwidth. It was reported by Nick that almost 6GB was transferred yesterday alone. Nick also sent a number of the e-mails he received about the site to the Help Desk junk list, here is a number of great quotes:

"You are way too into yourself, and would be beyond Metrosexual if you weren't huffing pole all the damned time."

"You are a stupid dork."

"You're obviously a fucking idiot."

"Also, your taste in music sucks shaved balls. I know you like shaved balls, because you're a bodybuilder, and a fucking idiot."

I hadn't planned on the backlash from the posting, but it also provided plenty of humor. Kudos for Nick taking this so well and for his site providing so much humor the last 24 hours.
