This CD reminded me a bit of listening to KRUI, sometimes you will get a decent song, other times you will just get something really bizarre. For example, the second track my making hey! was just really annoying, but then the third track by clap your hands say yeah was pretty good. Also pretty good was the palace brothers track, a nice mellow track. Then the CD takes a bit of a turn as the damned, pere ubu, wire and france gall tracks were not so hot. Like I said, a lot like listening to KRUI.

Lauren then does something that no one has done in the 2 years of the CD Exchange, she piles on the end of a CD with 6 tracks by the same band, Guided By Voices.? While none of the tracks are bad, in fact a couple are pretty good, I have to say that I am a little disappointed by having so much of one band on a single CD.? I commented on this with Derrick's CD last time so I have to be consistent here as well.
