11. Pinback - Autumn of the Seraphs

Consistency is the norm from Pinback. Each album is a little bit better than the one before it and the first album was pretty good. Autumn of the Seraphs keeps doing the mellow indie rock that Pinback is known for, but it is a little cleaner and a little more interesting than their last couple of albums.
The first three tracks highlight the album and are the most interesting tracks as well. From Nothing to Nowhere starts the album off with a quick start, which is then slowed down into Barnes, as heavy hitting as Pinback gets (not much at all). Finally we get Good to Sea, a great tempo and interesting wordplay in the lyrics. The rest of the album is good, consistent work from Pinback. There are no real bad tracks on the album, just nothing else that really stands out.
