  Crash Update

  I have some time now to go into more details about the crash. I was driving north on Riverside Drive in Iowa City towards the intersection of River Street and Riverside. Driving north there is no stop sign or yield, so the traffic does not have to stop. Southbound on River and Riverside, there are both stop signs and traffic there has to wait until the traffic clears. Well, this guy didn't wait for the traffic to clear and decided that it was ok to just ram the front of my car.

  Long story short, my airbags deployed and hit me in the chest, the front crumple zone took the brunt of it and I am ok. The car is not so OK and is likely to be totalled. I do have an animated gif here of the accident I made this morning. I will update this more as I get more info from the insurance.

  Another Update: Well, the other guy's insurance can't give me a rental car until they see my car, and that isn't getting done today. So my parents are going to come out to Iowa City this weekend, bring two cars and leave one with me so I have something to drive until I get money from my car and am able to buy a new one. This does mean that I will become "that guy" in Iowa City. I will be driving my dad's Lexus SUV with Illinois license plates around town. I will have to stop down to Iowa Book and get some Greek letters for my rear window now.

  Car Accident

  I can't write too much since I am icing one hand, but I was in an accident this evening. I will write more tomorrow about it, I do not have a pic of the car, but I do have my mangled license plate which will get posted in a bit.

  New Site

  A couple weeks later, the new MyTungsten appears. I am still working on adding some of the previous content, but all of the blog info got moved over without any problems. The next step will be updating the CD list and getting the pictures online. The new web host has photo gallery software that will do a lot of the work for me, so that is a bonus. Anyways, I any feedback about the new look of the site would be appreciated, I tried to test it as much as possible, but I am sure that there will be some small things wrong, so please let me know.

  The Office – Series 2

  0

  The second and final season of The Office picks up 2 weeks after the end of the first. We are introduced to a number of new people in the office who were transplanted from the company's other branch which closed. This leads to some rifts between works and causes a number of problems for David Brent. I won't go into too much detail as it would give away what happens in both the first and second seasons. However, I can tell you that Gareth and Tim still go at it, the tension between Tim and Dawn escalates due to another woman in Tim's life and David has to make some tough calls. Not quite as strong as the first season, the second season is still worth seeing if liked the first.

  Web Site Delays

  I have signed up for new web hosting, however as I had to pay by check, I am somewhat delayed in getting over to the new site. This time has allowed me to redo most of MyTungsten for the new release. I think most people will be impressed with it as I have gone to a more consistant look for all of the pages and made it easier to navigate. When I get it setup, I will also be moving the blog over to the new server as well, it will have it's own subdomain so it will still be easy to get to. So until then I wait, I was hoping it would have been ready earlier this week, but alas, what are you going to do.
